KATERINA MIKHAYLOVA

After graduating from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University, Russia) and the Bodo University College (HIBO, Norway), Katerina Mikhailova founded VEGA Film, a production company focused on Russian independent cinema as well as TV series. She has produced films such as Conference (participant in the Venice Film Festival program), The City Fell Asleep, and Country Sasha (participants in Berlin Festival programs) and others. Member of the European Film Academy. Graduate of EAVE (2021) and participant in film markets including New Nordic Films (2021), Key Buyers Event (2021), Connecting Cottbus (2019), and Baltic Event (2019).

EKATERINA GOLUBEVA-POLDI
Producer, CEO of Smena Film Company, and co-
founder of Association of Russian
Women Producers #WRAP
In 2016, she graduated from the Advanced Courses for Screenwriters and Directors. During her studies, she directed, produced, and wrote three short films, which won awards at international film festivals in Russia, Europe, and the USA (her student film The Puppeteer was recognized by critics from various countries, and her diploma film The Cloakroom Attendant participated in the Short Film Corner at the 2016 Moscow International Film Festival).

She founded Smena Film Company in 2018. In 2020, she presented her feature film producing debut, a comedy Blues by Aleksey Kamynin, in the competition program of the 31st Kinotavr Festival.
The film had its world premiere in the competition program at the Tallinn Black Nights International Film Festival (PÖFF).

Blues was released in Russian cinemas in October 2020, and six months later it became available on HBO GO. Her new feature film, Truth, is scheduled for release at the end of 2023

ANNA SHALASHINA
Producer, CEO of WISH Media and co-
founder of Association of Russian
Women Producers #WRAP
A graduate of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Faculty of Translation and Interpreting) and the MBA program at Kingston University, London. Member of the European association EAVE (B’EST) since 2014. She founded the production company WISH Media in 2016.

For over eight years, Anna worked at leading Russian film companies and studios, including Trikita Entertainment and Aleksey Uchitel’s ROCK Studio. In 2019, the documentary FROTH, directed by Ilya Povolotskiy, premiered at IDFA. A year later, WISH Media released the first season of the iconic teen series Sama Dura (You're stupid), which ran for three seasons and accumulated over 70 million views online.

A graduate of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow) and ESCP Business School, one of the oldest business schools in Europe (Paris and Berlin).

She began her career in the film industry in 2013. From 2014 to 2022, she was responsible for film acquisitions at key international film markets in Eastern Europe. Her portfolio of acquired and successfully distributed projects includes titles such as John Wick (1–3), Atomic Blonde, The War with Grandpa, and others.
